Introduction to Google's Classroom
Google Classroom allows you to create a 'centralized' online environment where you students can access all of your course resources, announcements, assignments and lessons.
One of the best features is the ability to have 'instant' access to your students documents for providing formative and guiding feedback in real time.  It also allows for a 'one stop shopping' experience for students to know where to go for everything they need access to when they need it.
Learn what classroom 'is', how to set up and fully utilize the classroom in conjunction with all the other Google Tools that make a paperless classroom easy and effective to manage.
The key is to not look at Classroom as a replacement or stand~alone product.  Is is a workflow solution and a great way to easily utilize all of the tools in Google's 'treasure trove of opportunity!'

Be a Student ~ Google Classroom Paperless Research Process & Other Projects
You would be amazed that most students don't know about the Research Tool and EasyBib Add on in Google Drive.  Better yet, most teachers haven't had time to learn and embrace them well enough to pass this on.

Now that we have Google Classroom to manage 'Drive' this is a no brainer!

Using Google Classroom, you can 'push' out a blank document so it is auto shared between you and your student.  You then can have them do all of their research and citations within the document.  The Research Tool and EasyBib add on make it possible for research to be easy and fun.

This is ideal for middle and high school but could certainly be applied to younger ages at varying degrees.

Besides, most teachers do their own research now and then and you will be able to ditch that APA/MLA manual and let Google do the work for you!~
